Hey everyone
Mor here, It’s been a long time since I have been writing something, but recently I felt the urge to put down words and feelings.
Maybe its not surfing most of last winter after my knee injury, maybe it’s because next year I’ll turn 40 and maybe it’s because I finally had an epic session at my beloved Klitmøller bay.
After so many years and it revived my inner feeling of sharing my experiences, possibly just so I can store it somewhere and move on to the next one. A way to jump back to that feeling I experienced at that specific moment and the only way I can visit it again in the future is reading my own words that describe what I felt.
So does is it means that all it takes is a good pounding followed by a barrel?!
Possibly.
I really started writing as a 16 years old after every surf contest I took part at. Win or lose, I was just covering events and it felt nice. Creating a souvenir kinda thing for whoever was there, and a reference for them who weren’t.
Later it turned into writing more articels to surf mags, covering personal surf events and CT events.
Then stopped. boom. life moved on, I became a dad just as I turned 22 (2008) and family life, everyday survival, how to make a living became my main focus.

Next chapter of surf stories, When we started our surf shop in Klitmøller at 2010, i was writing a blog every now and then… about my surf adventures along the coast of Klitmøller. the best one title I remember from that time was ‘when the wind blows away the expectations’.Big pier was really good at that time, we thought we are going to score it at its best with a huge storm and offshore winds, but then …. see title. This title is really summing up most of the surf session we have in Denmark, but for the few epic ones.. it’s all worth the hassle.
Fast forward to 2020, I had a writing attack. Made a newspaper called Coffee Break. literally. printed. 1 edition. finished. stored it aside. forgot about it again. If you never got the chance to get a copy of it, you can read it here: Coffee Break-Final Press
Today, entering a new chapter, with hopes that writing down my experiences and ideas will not only let me sleep peacefully*, but also inspire people to do what they love and give it all they have.
And of course, Happiness must be shared.
Until the next story
Mor.
*I can’t fall asleep when Im excited about something I experienced or about to experience, i keep repeating in my mind how to write it down
